Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Ortungssystem und ein Verfahren zur Standortbestimmung beweglicher Güter und Personen unter Nutzung eines GSM-Netzes, bei dem a) mittels einer GSM-Mobilfunkeinheit aus allen am Empfangsort verfügbaren stationären, ortsfesten (GSM) Funkstationen, deren Zelldaten und der Ta-Wert mindestens dreimal ermittelt werden, b) die Ta-Werte miteinander verglichen, auf Wiederholgenauigkeit überprüft und bei Überschreiten einer Toleranzgrenze verworfen werden, c) die Ta-Werte, die innerhalb der Toleranzgrenze liegen, und deren Zellwerte als Ortinformationsdaten zur Aktualisierung einer Referenzdatenbank einer Auswerte- und Verarbeitungseinrichtung zugeführt werden; d) und/oder mittels der Auswerte- und Verarbeitungseinrichtung der Referenzdatenbank aus aktualisierbaren Standortdaten in Standortkoordinaten der GSM-Mobilfunkeinheit umgewandelt und zur Applikation gebracht werden.
