Abstract

On décrit un procédé et un dispositif de décodage et de correction des erreurs d"un signal de code cyclique r(x) contenant une rafale principale d"erreurs qui est plus courte ou bien égale à un nombre n et une rafale secondaire d"erreurs qui est plus courte ou bien égale à un nombre k, tel que k<n, ladite rafale secondaire provoquant un syndrome S(x) calculé sur la base r(x), le non retour à zéro de tous les bits dans les premières positions avec le code cyclique étant un code de lancement raccourci permettant d"effecteur une correction standard d"une rafale unique plus courte que n ou égale à n. Selon le procédé, l"algorithme de correction des rafales d"erreurs proposé au départ par le code de lancement (code Fire) mais modifié avec la procédure d"interception des erreurs fondée sur la reconnaissance des premiers k bits des syndromes générés par les rafales secondaires est utilisé de manière conjointe.
