Abstract

Un appareil (1) de communication portatif peut être utilisé pour accéder à un service d'utilisateur (140) tel qu'une messagerie vocale fournie par un premier opérateur réseau (120) dans un réseau (100) de communication mobile à plusieurs opérateurs. L'appareil comprend une interface utilisateur équipée d'un dispositif de commande, d'un clavier et d'une mémoire. Une première zone mémoire de la mémoire conserve une première séquence de nombres destinée à être utilisée pour demander le service d'utilisateur directement à partir du premier opérateur réseau. Une deuxième zone mémoire de la mémoire conserve une deuxième séquence de nombres destinée à être utilisée pour demander indirectement le service d'utilisateur du premier opérateur réseau par l'intermédiaire du deuxième opérateur réseau (160). Un seul élément de l'interface utilisateur, de préférence une touche spécifique située sur le clavier est utilisé pour demander l'accès au service d'utilisateur. Le dispositif de commande détermine si l'appareil (1) est en liaison de fonctionnement direct avec le premier opérateur réseau et, si tel est le cas, la première séquence de nombres est envoyée directement à ce même opérateur. Dans le cas contraire, si le téléphone mobile (1) est utilisé en situation de visiteur, dans laquelle le téléphone (1) ne se trouve pas en contact de fonctionnement direct avec le premier opérateur réseau mais avec le deuxième opérateur, la deuxième séquence de nombres est envoyée indirectement au premier opérateur réseau par le deuxième opérateur réseau. L'avantage de ce système réside dans le fait qu'on utilise une interface classique pour demander l'accès à la messagerie, le même élément étant utilisé que le téléphone (1) soit utilisé en situation de visiteur ou non.
