Abstract
Ausgehend davon, dass das Funksystem eine Funkschnittstelle (AI) zur drahtlosen Übertragung von Daten zu einem Kommunikationsendgerät (MT), das die Daten durch einen Funkempfänger empfängt, aufweist, werden gemäß dem Gegenstand der Erfindung die Daten von dem Kommunikationsendgerät (MT) in mindestens einer definierten Funkzone (BTZO) von einem zentralen Diensteserver (CMP3S, MP3SV) eines Kommunikationsnetzes (IP/ATMNW) angefordert und über die Funkschnittstelle (AI) direkt zum Kommunikationsendgerät (MT) kostenpflichtig heruntergeladen. Durch die Erfindung wird vorteilhaft eine zum Endgerät hin drahtlose und damit gegenüber einer Verkabelung verschleißfreie Funkverbindung in einer definierten Funkzone zum direkten Herunterladen (Downloading) von Daten, die zentral von einem Netzserver bereitgestellt und verwaltet und abgerechnet werden, zum Endgerät mit Funkempfänger erzielt.

Beschreibung
FUNKSYSTEM ZUR DRAHTLOSEN ÜBERTRAGUNG VON DATEN ZU EINEM KOMMUNIKATIONSENDGERAT
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Funksystem mit einer Funkschnittstelle zur drahtlosen Übertragung von Daten zu einem Kommunikationsendgerat, das die Daten durch einen Funkempfanger empfangt.
Es ist allgemein bekannt, dass Funksysteme wie beispielsweise ein Schnurlossystem oder ein Mobilfunksystem eine Funkschnittstelle zu/von einem Kommunikationsendgerat zum drahtlosen Senden und Empfangen von Daten aufweisen. Die Kommuni- kationsendgerate weisen zum Empfang der übertragenen Daten bekanntlich einen Funkempfanger auf. Darüber hinaus ist allgemein bekannt, dass Daten - insbesondere Spiele, Videos, Nachrichten, Musik usw. - an spezielle leitungsgebundene Endgerate, die hierzu in eine Verbindungsstation (Docking Station) eingelegt oder über ein Kabel mit einem Computer verbun- den werden müssen, übertragen werden.
Es ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Funksystem zur drahtlosen Übertragung und Abrechnung von Daten für verschiedenste Endgerate anzugeben.
Diese Aufgabe wird gemäß der Erfindung durch die Merkmale des Patentanspruchs 1 gelost. Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteranspruchen angegeben.
Ausgehend davon, dass das Funksystem eine Funkschnittstelle zur drahtlosen Übertragung von Daten zu einem Kommunikationsendgerat, das die Daten durch einen Funkempfanger empfangt, aufweist, werden gemäß dem Gegenstand der Erfindung die Daten von dem Kommunikationsendgerat m mindestens einer definier- ten Funkzone von einem zentralen Diensteserver eines Kommunikationsnetzes angefordert und über die Funkschnittstelle di-
rekt zum Kommunikationsendgerät kostenpflichtig heruntergeladen.
Durch die Erfindung wird vorteilhaft eine zum Endgerät hin drahtlose und damit gegenüber einer Verkabelung verschleißfreie Funkverbindung in einer definierten Funkzone zum direkten Herunterladen (Downloading) von Daten, die zentral von einem Netzserver bereitgestellt und verwaltet und abgerechnet werden, zum Endgerät mit Funkempfänger erzielt. So kann bei- spielsweise das Endgerät das Herunterladen von Spielen, Videos, Nachrichten und Musik in der speziell eingerichteten Funkzone initiieren und empfängt die angeforderten Daten auf direktem Weg über die Funkschnittstelle.
Insbesondere die Kombination eines Bluetooth-Endgeräts mit einer Bluetooth-Funkbasisstation im Funksystem ermöglicht hohe Datenübertragungsraten ohne Kabel- oder Kompatibilitätsprobleme. Diese Bluetooth-Geräte sind leichte, kleine Endgeräte, die einen geringen Stromverbrauch, ein ideale Reichwei- te und geringe Kosten beim Herunterladen der Daten benötigen. Die definierten Funkzonen, von denen mehrere sehr kleine Zonen dicht nebeneinander betrieben werden können, befinden sich beispielsweise in Kaufhäusern, Flughäfen, Einkaufszentren, Arztpraxen usw. zum kostenpflichtigen und legalen Her- unterladen der obigen Daten vom zentralen Netzserver über das Funksystem gemäß dem Gegenstand der Erfindung.
Die Erfindung wird anhand eines in einer Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert. Diese zeigt in einem prinzipiellen Blockschaltbild ein Funksystem, das eine Funkschnittstelle AI zwischen einer - vorzugsweise als Bluetooth-Basisstation mit Funkmodul ausgebildeten - Funkbasisstation BTBS und einem - vorzugsweise als Musikspielgerät MP3P oder als Mobiltelefon MP3MP oder als tragbarer Computer MP3PC - ausgebildeten Kommunikationsendgerät MT . Das Kommunikationsendgerät MT befindet sich in einer definierten Funkzone BTZO - z.B. eingerichtet in einem Musikzentrum MP3MC eines
Kaufhauses - und fordert von dort Daten - z.B. MP3-Musιkdaten - an, indem es e ne Anforderung zum Herunterladen dieser Da¬ ten (Downloading) generiert und aussendet. Die Anforderung wird über die Funkschnittstelle AI von der für die spezielle Funkzone BTZO zustandigen Funkbasisstation BTBS - die zumin¬ dest m der Nähe des Musikzentrums MP3MC angeordnet ist - gesendet und von dort über ein angeschlossenes Netz NW - z.B. Ethernet - mittels Router ROU zu einem Zugangsnetz ACCNW (Access Network) und von dort mittels weiterer Router ROU zu einem ATM-Netz NW oder dem Internet IP gelenkt. Es sei im vorliegenden Beispiel angenommen, dass ein zentraler Netzserver CMP3S, an den die Anforderung gerichtet ist, mit dem ATM- Netz oder Internet IP verbunden ist und die angeforderten Daten - z.B. die MP3-Musikdaten - durch Herunterladen bereit- stellt und in der entgegengesetzten Übertragungsrichtung zur Funkbasisstation BTBS zurücksendet. Dabei fuhrt der zentrale Netzserver CMP3S die Abrechnung der für den Nutzer des Endge- rats MT kostenpflichtigen Datenübertragung mittels Vergebüh- rung durch und sendet die anfallenden Kostendaten - vorzugs- weise gemeinsam mit den Musikdaten.
In dem Zugangsnetz ACCNW können weitere Netzserver MP3SV zur Bereitstellung von Daten sowie separate Server BILL zur getrennten Berechnung der Vergebuhrung der Datenübertragung an- geordnet sein. An das Ethernet-Netz NW kann ein Computer mit Bildschirm zur elektronischen Abwicklung der Übertragung der heruntergeladenen Daten und msbsondere der Bezahlung der anfallenden Geb hren angeschlossen sein.
Die Bluetooth-Funkbasisstation BTBS des Bluetooth-Funksystems sendet die empfangenen Daten über die Funkschnittstelle AI zu dem Bluetooth-Endgerat, das das Herunterladen initiiert hat - z.B. an das Musikspielgerat MP3P. Dieses Gerat weist zum Empfang der Daten entweder einen integrierten Funkempfanger oder ein über einen Adapter angeschlossenen Funkempfanger auf. Als Funkschnittstelle zwischen dem Kommunikationsendgerat und der Funkbasisstation wird vorzugsweise ein bestehender Funk-Stan-
dard oder Schnurlos-Standard verwendet, jedoch ist die Erfindung nicht auf einen solchen beschrankt. Als besonders geeignet hat sich die Funkubertragung gemäß dem Bluetooth-Funksystem erwiesen, das hohe Datenraten bis 700Kιlobιt pro Sekunde ermöglicht und für das leichte, kleine Endgerate, die einen geringen Stromverbrauch, ein ideale Reichweite und geringe Kosten beim Herunterladen der Daten benotigen, einsetzbar sind. Die definierten Funkzonen BTZO, von denen mehrere sehr kleine Zonen dicht nebeneinander betrieben werden können, liegen bevorzugt in Kaufhausern, Flughafen, Einkaufszentren, Arztpraxen usw. zum kostenpflichtigen und legalen Herunterladen von Spielen, Musik, Videos usw. durch den Benutzer eines Endgerats MT mit Funkempfanger, durch das die gewünschten Daten vom zentralen Netzserver direkt über das in der Funkzone eingerichtete Funksystem gemäß dem Gegenstand der Erfindung angefordert und heruntergeladen werden.
Claims
1. Funksystem mit einer Funkschnittstelle (AI) zur drahtlosen Übertragung von Daten zu einem Kommunikationsendgerat (MT) , das die Daten durch einen Funkempfanger empfangt, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass die Daten von dem Kommunikationsendgerat (MT) in mindestens einer definierten Funkzone (BTZO) von einem zentralen Diensteserver (CMP3S) eines Kommunikationsnetzes (IP/ATMNW) angefordert und über die Funkschnittstelle (AI) direkt zum Kommunikationsendgerat (MT) kostenpflichtig heruntergeladen werden.
2. Funksystem nach Anspruch 1, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass von dem Diensteserver (CMP3S, MP3SV) mit dem Herunterladen der angeforderten Daten die Kosten durch Vergebuhrung der Datenübertragung ermittelt werden.
3. Funksystem nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass ein Kommunikationsendgerat (MT) mit integriertem Funkempfanger zum Empfang der heruntergeladenen Daten vorgesehen ist .
4. Funksystem nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass ein Kommunikationsendgerat (MT) mit einem über einen Adapter angeschlossenen Funkempfanger zum Empfang der herunter- geladenen Daten vorgesehen ist.
5. Funksystem nach einem der vorgehenden Ansprüche, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass die definierte Funkzone (BTZO) m Gebäuden zum Herunter- laden von Sprach- und Bilddaten eingerichtet ist.
6. Funksystem nach einem der vorgehenden Ansprüche, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, dass netzseitig eine Funkbasisstation (BTBS) mit einem Bluetooth-Funkmodul zum drahtlosen Senden der heruntergeladenen Daten zu einem Bluetooth-Kommunikationsendgerät (MT) vorgesehen ist.
