Definitions

  • the invention relates to an attachment of glass panes by means of fittings, here in particular with point holders, to support structure elements according to the preamble of claim 1
  • Point holders for glass panes are known in a wide variety of forms.
  • DE 196 23 797 A1 discloses a holder for glass panes which is designed in a punctiform manner. There is a bore inside the glass pane, which is covered by a fitting part. Between the glass pane and the fitting part, that are screwed against each other, seals are included, which should compensate for the tolerances of the glass thickness accordingly. This is necessary because the part of the point holder, which is located inside the glass bore, consists of two parts that have to be screwed against each other. Such an assembly is very complex , since the thickness of the glass must be determined each time. Within the part of the fitting that is screwed into the glass, there is a connection for fastening the glass pane to a substructure. A ball or a partial element of a ball is preferably used here in order to Compensate for angular errors

  • special processing of the glass is required
  • the object of the invention is then to improve a point connection for glass panes in such a way that a wide variety of fittings can be used in a wide variety of applications and, moreover, no static stresses should arise in the glass during assembly and, furthermore, dynamic loads from the should also be used Keep glass away and no impermissible stresses are transferred to the substructure

  • the glass-specific part is defined in such a way that not only are the known bores in the glass available, but the bores are also lined in such a way that no stresses occur in the glass during assembly, which are usually missing due to tolerances of the bores in the glass or also due to assembly or due to tolerances of the substructure .
  • This is achieved in that a pre-formable, permanently elastic medium is present in a fastening receptacle between the point holder to be used and the actual bore on the glass.
  • the installation-specific fittings are to be defined in such a way that they can be designed according to the specifications of the substructure. A tension-free installation need not be taken into account when choosing the fittings (point bracket). As a result, the costs of such fittings are reduced.

  • the installation-specific part takes on the adaptation to structural conditions and essentially balances the static assembly tolerances.
  • the glass-specific part essentially has to compensate for the dynamic changes. These are in particular deflection due to wind load, dead weight, shocks, snow load or other traffic loads, both during assembly and after assembly.
  • the dynamic changes can cause vibrations in the glass panes, which can also destroy the panes. This also includes vibrations caused by motor traffic or earthquakes.

  • the glass-specific part By making a separation between the installation-specific and the glass-specific part, it can be ensured using a wide variety of installation-specific fittings that the elasticity of the glass is not prevented.
  • This can, for example, stand that the glass-specific part is constructed in such a way that it does not allow or eliminate dynamic and static loads during assembly and also afterwards within the glass pane. Therefore, it is proposed according to the invention that the glass-specific part contains a fastening receptacle which is connected to the glass pane in a non-positive and positive manner, namely through a hole in the glass, but at the same time allows the glass its freedom of movement.
  • a mounting receptacle can consist, for example, in the form of a sleeve with a projecting one-sided edge and a sleeve neck in such a way that the edge of the sleeve covers the edge of the bore within the glass pane.

  • This permanently elastic medium can be introduced by casting, for example, as an elastomer or silicone, but it is also possible to design this medium as a rubber ring which is introduced into the hole in the glass pane before the sleeve is inserted. Due to this type of connection, which can absorb more or less forces depending on the permanently elastic medium, there is no rigid clamping of the glass pane over the point holder, as is otherwise customary in the prior art. The result of this is that force neutralization takes place, since the glass pane is suspended or fastened to a certain extent in a floating manner.
