Abstract

Verfahren zum Herstellen oder Bearbeiten eines Werkstückes (4) in Form eines zylindrischen Hohlkörpers, insbesondere Behälter (-mantel), Tonne oder Faß, bei dem das Werkstück mit vertikal ausgerichteter Längsachse gehalten und in dieser Orientierung bearbeitet, insbesondere verformt, gebördelt, mit Sicken, Boden und Deckel versehen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Werkstück in einer Transferebene bewegt und zur Bearbeitung in einen Arbeitsbereich einer unterhalb der Transferebene angeordneten Bearbeitungseinrichtung, insbesondere Formgebungsmaschine, abgesenkt wird.
