Abstract

L'invention concerne un formeur multicouche servant à former une bande de papier à trois couches, de préférence une bande de papier fine. Le dispositif de formation de bande comprend les trois unités de formation de bande successives, chacune comprenant une caisse de tête (12, 22, 32) et une zone toile double (14, 24, 34) formée sur la partie de liaison de deux boucles métalliques parallèles (10, 18; 18, 20; 20, 30). Un cylindre de formation (16,26,36) et un certain nombre d'éléments d'essorage (17, 19; 27, 29; 37, 39) fonctionnent dans la région de cette zone. La couche intermédiaire de la bande est destinée à être formée dans la première unité de formation de bande (12, 14), ce qui provoque le drainage des couches supérieure et inférieure sur les surfaces supérieure et inférieure de ladite couche intermédiaire dans les deux autres unités de formation de bande (22, 24; 32, 34). Le cylindre de formation (26, 36) de la seconde et de la troisième unités de formation de bande est placé de telle manière que les deux nouvelles couches de pâte peuvent être pulvérisées dans un espace situé entre le cylindre de formation (26, 36) et la couche intermédiaire de la première bande formée. D'une manière avantageuse, il est prévu que l'élimination de l'eau se trouvant dans les zones de formation de bande (14, 24, 34) se produise sensiblement dans les deux sens, à travers les deux boucles métalliques (10, 18; 18, 20; 20, 30) délimitant la bande.
