Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine des moteurs à combustion interne rotatifs, et concerne un moteur dont le corps comprend une cavité interne cylindrique ainsi que des caches latéraux. La cavité renferme un rotor-piston qui est monté de manière concentrique, qui comprend des surfaces latérales, des protubérances radiales ainsi que des renfoncements radiaux sur sa surface périphérique, et qui forme avec le corps des cavités segmentées. Les surfaces latérales du rotor-piston entrent hermétiquement en butée contre les caches latéraux. Les protubérances radiales de la surface périphérique du rotor-piston entrent hermétiquement en butée contre la surface interne et cylindrique de la cavité du corps. La chambre de combustion se situe au-delà des limites de la cavité cylindrique interne, et communique avec cette dernière par le biais de canaux d'entrée et de sortie qui sont pourvus de tiroirs commandés. Ce moteur comprend des canaux de refoulement et d'admission, ainsi que des ailettes de séparation qui sont montées de manière à pouvoir se déplacer radialement dans les gorges du corps et des surfaces internes des caches latéraux, ceci entre les canaux d'entrée et de sortie des chambres de combustion et entre les canaux de refoulement et d'admission. Les ailettes de séparation sont reliées à un mécanisme de commande, entrent en contact avec la surface périphérique du rotor-piston, et définissent avec les renfoncements radiaux du rotor-piston, avec la surface interne du corps cylindrique et avec les caches latéraux du corps, des cavités de travail segmentées. Ce moteur se caractérise en ce qu'il comprend une seconde chambre de combustion identique à la première et isolée de celle-ci. La première chambre de combustion communique avec la cavité cylindrique interne du corps par le biais d'un premier canal d'entrée et d'un premier canal de sortie qui sont pourvus de tiroirs commandés, tandis que la seconde chambre de combustion communique avec la cavité cylindrique interne du corps par le biais d'un second canal d'entrée et d'un second canal de sortie qui sont également pourvus de tiroirs commandés. Ce moteur possède une puissance spécifique élevée ainsi qu'un couple rotatif régulier.
