Outputs of the three-phase winding 2 go to a full-wave rectifier, which is furnished with diodes 3. One of the rectifier output wire is connected to a grounding terminal 4, while the other one is connected to the positive voltage output terminal 5. One of the outputs of the three-phase winding 2 is connected to the alternating voltage output terminal 6.

  • the converter 11 there may be used an analogue-digital converter, the application of which should be for alternator outputs, or amplifier for an input pulse signal for controlling the excitation. Monitoring the signal at the testing voltage terminal 8 allows for checking the alternator excitation winding for interruption or short-circuiting.
  • the power switching means 7 may be located also outside the respective alternator 10 and may be even integrated within the control unit. Besides the alternator electric parameters it is possible to monitor also other ones, like temperature, vibration, etc.
  • the alternator 10 is furnished with respective sensor elements, the outputs of which are by means of converters 11 connected to the control unit, in the above presented case to the board computer 20 bus.
  • the output terminal, the alternating voltage output terminal 6, is provided at only one of the nodes of the stator three- phase winding. For an improved diagnostics it is preferred to have appropriate output terminals from two or even all three nodes.

Abstract

Dans le cadre d'automobiles équipés d'un ordinateur de bord ou d'une autre unité de commande, on prévoit la connexion d'un alternateur (10) dont les entrées et sorties sont reliées à un périphérique de l'unité de commande (20) au moyen de convertisseurs (11). L'alternateur (10) est soit pourvu d'un circuit d'excitation présentant des moyens de commutation de puissance (7) qui sont aussi connectés à l'unité de commande (20) soit pourvu d'un circuit d'excitation dont l'étage de commutation de puissance (7) est solidaire de l'unité de commande (20).
