Abstract

L'invention concerne un tube bioérodable de paracentèse du tympan ne nécessitant pas d'être retiré. Ce tube est destiné à être inséré dans une ouverture ménagée dans la membrane du tympan afin de drainer l'oreille moyenne à travers le canal de l'oreille externe. Le tube comprend une tige destinée à être placée dans l'ouverture de la membrane du tympan et présente un passage assurant la communication entre l'oreille moyenne et le canal de l'oreille externe lorsque la tige se trouve dans l'ouverture. Ce tube comprend en outre un premier rebord sur une extrémité de la tige et un second rebord sur l'autre extrémité de la tige. Il présente une taille telle que le premier rebord et le second rebord sont disposés sur les côtés opposés de la membrane du tympan lorsque la tige est placée dans l'ouverture de manière que le premier rebord puisse s'étendre dans l'oreille moyenne et que le second rebord puisse s'étendre dans le canal de l'oreille externe. En raison de la nature du tube, qui est formé d'une matière bioérodable se dissolvant après exposition à certains fluides, notamment des fluides de l'oreille moyenne, celui-ci se dissout simplement après une période de temps sans qu'il soit nécessaire de le retirer par une intervention chirurgicale.
