Abstract

Lors de transactions commerciales dans l'environnement du commerce électronique actuel, les acheteurs peuvent ne pas être certains de l'identité et de la fiabilité des vendeurs. En raison de cette difficulté inhérente à s'assurer de l'identité et de la fiabilité des vendeurs sur un réseau informatique (tel que l'Internet), il y a le risque que les acheteurs ne reçoivent jamais les biens ou les services commandés ou ne reçoivent que des biens défectueux ou des services de qualité inférieure. L'incertitude relative à l'identité et à la fiabilité des vendeurs est un frein sérieux aux transactions sur l'Internet. Pour résoudre ce problème, cette invention propose un procédé de vérification destiné à faciliter les transactions entre acheteurs et vendeurs. Lors de la réception d'une demande de transaction sur l'Internet de la part d'un acheteur, un vendeur envoie une identification de vérification à l'acheteur. L'acheteur désigne ensuite un noeud de vérification et envoie l'identification de vérification à ce noeud de vérification par l'Internet pour la vérification du vendeur et comme garantie pour la transaction. Après avoir reçu la vérification et/ou la garantie, l'acheteur conclut alors la transaction avec le vendeur sur l'Internet.
