Abstract

L'invention concerne une unité membrane-électrode destinée à une pile à combustible à membrane électrolytique polymère, dans laquelle la couche de catalyseur d'électrode active est appliquée par pression directement sur la membrane, sous la forme d'une poudre sèche. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé économique permettant la fabrication en masse d'une telle unité membrane-électrode, selon lequel la poudre de catalyseur sèche est appliquée simplement sur la bande membranaire à l'aide d'un tamis, puis travaillée, sans additif, avec une presse pour former une couche de catalyseur d'électrode.
