Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine mit Weißlicht arbeitende Hintergrundbeleuchtung auf der Basis von Leuchtdioden-Chips, bei welcher zur Erzeugung eines Weißlichts die Leuchtdioden-Chips als blaues Licht emittierende Leuchtdioden-Chips (12) ausgebildet sind und die Diffusorfolie (15) auf ihrer der Leiterplatte (11) zugewandten Innenfläche mit einer aus einem das blau emittierte Licht in Weißlicht transformierenden Konverterpulver und einem Trägermaterial bestehenden Beschichtung (16) versehen ist.
