Abstract

Cette invention concerne un appareil (1) permettant de fermer un espace ou une zone, en l'occurrence un passage, et qui comprend un dispositif (3) conçu pour se monter dans un passage (2) et se déployer contre une paroi (4) du passage tout en laissant l'accès libre pour les utilisateurs du passage (2). Selon le mode de réalisation de l'invention, le passage (2) est un tunnel de section généralement circulaire. Le dispositif (3) se présente sous la forme d'un sac imperméable aux gaz ou d'une enceinte souple en matériau résistant au feu qui est logé, par exemple plié, dans une enveloppe de protection (5). L'enveloppe (5) telle qu'elle est représentée dans la figure 1 est montée dans la partie haute de la paroi (4) du tunnel (2) et renferme, en plus du sac (3), une source de fluide sous pression tel qu'un gaz - air, azote ou tout autre gaz approprié - et un mécanisme de gonflage (6) reliant le gaz à la source de fluide. Le sac (3) comprend un structure toroïdale dont la partie centrale, constituée par une bavette ou un volet (8), qui permet aux utilisateurs du passage (2) de franchir le dispositif (3) lorsqu'il est déployé.
