Abstract

According to the invention, hot-melt adhesive is packaged in a container comprising an opening by filling the container with the melted hot-melt adhesive through the opening. Said hot-melt adhesive is suited for simultaneously melting with the content of the container, and can be mixed with the same when in a melted state without the properties of the adhesive composition being, to a great extent, adversely affected. In addition, the inventive hot-melt adhesive exhibits no surface stickiness in the range of normal storage temperatures. The container is dimensionally stabile at temperatures lower than 50 °C. The container is simultaneously cooled when filling the hot-melt adhesive. After filling, the container is completely sealed. The method is especially suited for packaging hot-melt adhesives which can flow at normal storage temperatures.
