Abstract

Un dossier peut être monté sur la plate-forme pour soutenir le dos d'une personne lorsque celle-ci prend une douche dans la baignoire, ou pour lui permettre d'effectuer des exercices orthopédiques dans l'eau. Ce dossier peut être monté sur la base de la plate-forme (12) de manière à réduire la longueur du bain pour les enfants ou les personnes de petite taille, réduisant ainsi au minimum le risque de noyade et permettant à ces personnes de s'allonger dans le bain. Un pied de douche (42) est fixé lorsque l'accessoire de support est monté dans une douche, ce pied pouvant être déplacé par pivotement dans une position verticale inopérante contre une paroi latérale de la cabine de douche. Un élévateur (50) est fixé à l'accessoire de support pour plonger une personne dans l'eau du bain ou la sortir de l'eau, ce levier pouvant être déplacé de façon coulissante le long d'un rail de guidage pour permettre à d'autres personnes d'utiliser le bain. Par ailleurs, on peut adapter des applications classiques telles qu'une baignoire pour bébé (90) ou une planche de lavage (95) pour les monter sur la plate-forme, un élément de retenue (80) permettant de fixer un équipement médical tel qu'une potence à perfusion ou un système d'immobilisation d'un membre en écharpe.
