Description
Beschreibungdescription
Buchsenkontakt mit Überfeder und PolarisierungsstegSocket contact with spring and polarization bar
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Buchsenkontakt mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Schutzanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a socket contact with the features of the preamble of protection claim 1.
Such socket contacts, which consist of a base spring and a locking sleeve serving as a spring, are generally known, for. B. by DE 92 02 366 Ul. In the case of such contacts, the locking sleeve essentially has the function of a reinforcement or over-spring, which is to increase the spring force of the base spring by means of over-spring arms and, by means of a locking spring arm, is intended to enable releasable (primary) locking of the contact in a contact chamber of a contact carrier . Such a contact carrier is then often accommodated in an outer housing, the contacts contained in the contact carrier being additionally secured in their contact chambers by suitable measures (secondary securing). In order to prevent the contact from being inserted incorrectly into the contact chamber of a contact carrier, the spring-over of the known contact is designed with a polarization bar which is provided on the connection-side end of the spring-over and protrudes upright from its top wall and is arranged transversely to the plug-in direction. Such a socket contact can be inserted into a contact chamber with almost the entire length of the contact part before the polarization bar becomes effective and a misalignment of the socket contact in relation to its position in the contact carrier becomes apparent.
The invention has for its object to provide a socket contact of the type mentioned with a polarization that incorrect insertion of a socket contact is avoided from the outset and the socket contact can only be inserted into a contact chamber of a contact housing with correct orientation. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the polarization web is arranged at the plug-side front end of the spring and is formed by a tab of a side wall of the spring, which is aligned with this side wall, over the relevant longitudinal edge of the spring and the adjacent ceiling and / or extending the bottom wall of the extension of this side wall and with its front, plug-side end face aligned with the front plug-side end face of the spring.
Such a socket contact is polarized in the front, plug-in end region with a narrow bridge, so that the polarization becomes effective immediately when an attempt is made to insert a socket contact into a contact chamber and an incorrect insertion of a socket contact can be detected at an early stage. As a result, the socket contact can be inserted from the outset with the least possible manufacturing outlay for the polarization only with correct orientation in relation to a contact chamber or a contact housing and can only be inserted further into a contact chamber if the orientation is correct.
In this way, an otherwise possibly deeper insertion of a socket contact, a pulling out of a socket contact after late effective polarization with incorrect orientation and a repeated correct insertion of a socket contact and thus an unnecessary expenditure of time when accommodating socket contacts in contact carriers are avoided.
Advantageous embodiments of the subject matter of claim 1 are specified in the subclaims.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments which are shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 in plan view and in two side views.
