Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de transmission de l'énergie cinétique de rotation d'un arbre primaire vers un arbre secondaire, ainsi qu'une transmission électromécanique. Ce procédé et cette transmission peuvent être utilisés dans les systèmes d'entraînement de véhicules. Ce procédé consiste à transmettre l'énergie de rotation vers l'arbre secondaire d'une part de manière mécanique par l'intermédiaire du second élément mobile (5) d'un différentiel en utilisant la réaction de l'induit (4) d'une machine électrique (21) fonctionnant comme un générateur électrique et, d'autre part, de manière électrique par l'intermédiaire d'un machine électrique (23) fonctionnant comme un moteur électrique. Cette transmission comprend au moins deux machines électriques (21, 23) connectées entre elles, et au moins un différentiel à quatre éléments sur l'arbre principal duquel se trouve l'une desdites machines électrique (21, 23), l'autre étant disposée de manière arbitraire. Les machines électriques (21, 23) sont séparées par un contacteur d'inversion du courant (3).
