Description

Garments, in particular protective clothing, in which heating medium carriers are provided for the clothing.
In a known embodiment of this type, clothes hanger-like supports are provided, which either directly on a manifold for heating medium, e.g. warm air, connected or suspended separately and assigned to a separate air distribution device. Such designs have the disadvantage that the area intended for contact with the body of the wearer is difficult to dry, particularly if it is sleeveless jackets, since blown-in warm air can escape freely through the armholes. There are also known frames for stretching garments, which are provided with air outlet openings along their circumference. These are individual frames, which as such are individually supplied with heating medium and must be hung up individually.
The invention has for its object to provide an arrangement of the type mentioned, in which the clothes to be dried can be easily applied to the carrier and a plurality of carriers are provided on a corresponding support member.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the supports are formed by tubes which project from the plane defined by the supports and which are arranged essentially vertically and feed the heating medium. This enables easy, space-saving hanging or laying of the items of clothing to be dried, without the drying quality being impaired.
Advantageously, the tubes forming the carrier can be shaped into U-shaped brackets, which are connected to the free ends of the legs by connecting the inner spaces to a respective support, thereby making it possible for the Supports for the supply and / or discharge of heating medium can be used. In order to achieve uniform drying of the items of clothing while avoiding local overheating, the tubes for supplying the items of clothing to be dried with warm air can be provided with air outlet openings in the inward or mutually directed regions of the stirrups or tube sockets. For a particularly good heat distribution, one of the two supports for the supply and the other of the two supports for the discharge of the heating medium can be provided, as a result of which hot water can also be used as the heating medium if the brackets are designed without holes. However, warm air can also be blown in parallel into the brackets or into the freely projecting pipe sockets via both supports, as a result of which a drop in temperature or an air quantity is avoided in the brackets. Finally, at least some of the brackets or pipe sockets arranged at a height can be arranged in essentially horizontal planes, these brackets being provided as a support for an air-permeable carrier plate. This enables the drying of protective helmets and the like, which only need to be placed on the carrier plate with the open side facing downward, so that the warm air escaping from the tube brackets or the raw connections can flow through the helmet interior.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing.

Fig. 3 ist eine Seitenansicht der Ausführungsvariante gemäß Fig. 1.Fig. 2 also shows a second embodiment, intended for wall mounting. FIG. 3 is a side view of the embodiment variant according to FIG. 1.
Fig. 4 illustrates a top view of one of the lower brackets. Fig. 5 shows schematically a detail of a third embodiment, on which a garment to be dried is hung along the longitudinal side seam. Fig. 6 illustrates this variant also as a cutout with a garment hung on the shoulder seams.
Mit 1 und 2 sind vertikale Stützen bezeichnet, von welchen nach Art vonFIG. 7 shows a detail of an arrangement in which two carriers according to FIG. 5 or FIG. 6 are arranged next to one another at the same height. With 1 and 2 vertical supports are designated, of which in the manner of
Shelf supports made of tubes 3, 4 protrude, onto which clothes 8 to be dried can be pushed. 1 to 4, the carriers 3, 4 are formed by U-shaped brackets which consist of two parallel legs 5, 6 and a web 7 connecting these legs. The interior of the bracket is conductively connected to the interior of the supports, so that the supports serve directly for supplying or, if necessary, for removing the heating medium. The supports 1, 2 can either be self-supporting on a chassis 13 (FIGS. 1 and 3) or on a wall 14 (FIG. 2). A panel, which serves to hold the supports 1, 2, can be provided between the supports in a manner not described in detail.
Instead of the brackets 5, 6, 7, freely projecting pipe sockets 9, 10 can also be provided, the free ends of which are closed and the interior of which is conductively connected to the interior of the associated support.
Hot water or electrical resistance heating wire can also be provided as the heating medium, but the best drying effects are achieved with warm air, for this purpose the brackets 5, 6, 7 and the pipe sockets 9, 10, if the latter are arranged parallel to one another and in pairs for receiving the items of clothing 8 serve, on the inward wall areas air outlet openings (not shown), the hot air being guided via the supports 1, 2 into the interior of the brackets 5, 6, 7 or the pipe socket 9, 10. The hot air source, not shown, can be any hot air generator with a fan. Either one 1 of the two supports 1, 2 can serve as a feed line and the other 2 of the two supports 1, 2 can serve as a lead if tube brackets 5, 6, 7 are provided. However, if the outlet openings allow just as much air to escape as the fan supplies, both supports 1, 2 serve as supply lines, which means that no air is returned to the heating source. Even with the arrangement of pipe sockets 9, 10, all supports 1, 2 serve as feed lines.
In den Ausführungsbeispielen gemäß Fig. 1 bis 4 sind die obersten Träger 4 alsIf the pipe sockets, as shown in FIGS. 5, 6, serve individually as carriers, then the air outlet openings can also be provided in the lower wall area of the pipe sockets. However, the garment 8 is preferably pushed either over the brackets 5, 6, 7 forming the carrier 3 or onto two pipe stubs 9, 10 arranged in parallel, so that warm air escaping from the brackets or the pipe stubs into the interior of the garments dry these garments. The arrangement of the air outlet openings at the points described above ensures that items of clothing pushed onto the carrier do not cover the outlet openings and thus prevent air from escaping, but the air can escape unhindered into the interior of the items of clothing. In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the uppermost supports 4 are as
Support for a carrier plate 11 is formed, on which protective helmets are placed with the open sides facing down. These support plates 11 are permeable to air, u. the plates are perforated or formed by a grid or net. The warm air emerging from the brackets forming the supports 4 sweeps from below into the interior of the helmets 12 and dries them with them. Special outlet bodies for the hot air, onto which the helmets are placed directly, can also be provided in a manner not shown. These outlet bodies can e.g. be designed as bulges of the support plate 11, the air flowing into the interior of the helmets via openings provided in the uppermost region of the bulges. In other cases, the outlet bodies could be provided directly on the protruding tubes, that is, they form the ends of the tubes. Furthermore, warm air outlet openings on the pipe sockets or brackets located above the helmets can also be arranged in a manner not shown in such a way that warm air also emerges downwards and the helmets located underneath dry on the outside.
