Technisches GebietTechnical field
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Begrunungsmatte zur Hangbefestigung aus zwei miteinander vernadelten Vliesschichten, die zwischen sich Saatgut für eine Hangbegrunung aufnehmenThe invention relates to a greening mat for fixing slopes from two needled nonwoven layers which receive seed for a greening between slopes
Stand der TechnikState of the art
In order to protect free floor areas from the effects of erosion on the one hand and to be able to simply green them on the other hand, these floor areas are covered with greening mats, which, for example, consist of straw and are provided with embedded seeds embedded seeds For this reason, it has already been proposed (AT 402 749 B) to provide an intermediate layer of seeds and nutrients for the seeds between a textile base layer and a fleece-like cover layer, the cohesion of these layers being ensured by a common needling a textile fabric or nonwoven made of synthetic or natural fibers serves as protection against erosion due to the higher inherent strength, the higher density of the support layer required for the desired mechanical strength to allow this layer to grow through offers greater resistance This fact plays a subordinate role in the known greening mats, because the seeds are not dependent on the nutrient supply due to the nutrient content of the intermediate layer due to the bottom layer covered by the greening mat. However, other conditions result in less - 2 - manoeuvrable greening mats with embedded seeds, which should germinate as quickly as possible into the soil layer below the greening mat after germination. Such good growth of the greening mat requires sufficient porosity of the greening mat without endangering its strength, which is necessary for adequate erosion protection. In addition, the greening should take over the natural slope as quickly as possible.
Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention
The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a greening mat for slope fixing of the type described in such a way that secure holding of the seed can be achieved without impairing the throughgrowth of the greening mat. In addition, the fleece layers are to rot more and more with the increasing rooting of the driven seed in the covered soil layer.
The invention achieves the stated object in that the two nonwoven layers, which have the loose seed in the area of their mutually facing surfaces, each consist of a pre-needled nonwoven fabric made from a mixture of vegetable and sheep's wool fibers.
While the plant fibers essentially determine the porosity of the fleece layers, the sheep's wool fibers ensure sufficient cohesion of the fiber composite when the needles are pre-needled, so that pre-needled nonwovens from a mixture of plant and sheep's wool fibers ensure that the greening mat is easy to grow through, without that to have to forego the strength required for slope mounting. The loose seed picked up in the area of the facing surfaces of the two nonwoven layers finds sufficient support between the fibers of the needled nonwoven layers, which is an essential prerequisite for good handling of the greening mat - 3 - represents. A comparatively low basis weight, which can preferably be between 200 and 300 g / m 2 , in conjunction with good deformability forms a further prerequisite for the advantageous use of such greening mats. In addition, the sheep's wool fibers rot much faster than the plant fibers, so that with an increasing root formation of the seedlings, the throughgrowth of the greening mat increases due to the increasing decomposition of the sheep's wool fibers. The root fibers can at least partially compensate for the loss of strength due to the rotting sheep's wool fiber content, so that the erosion protection is fully retained, especially since the plant fibers only rot later. The increasingly rotting share of sheep's wool fibers also brings with it additional fertilization for the plants sprouting from the seed, which overall creates particularly favorable conditions for greening slopes. Since the plant fibers only rot after the soil layer covered by the greening mat has been thoroughly rooted, effective protection against erosion is provided by the greening mat until the slope is greened, but the protective effect decreases with increasing protection from the growing plants.
As has already been explained, the plant fibers and the sheep's wool fibers have different effects within the fiber composite of the nonwoven layers, so that different properties of the greening mat with regard to permeability and erosion protection can be set by choosing appropriate proportions of the different fibers. However, with approximately equal proportions of the vegetable and sheep wool fibers in the fiber mixture of the nonwovens, most of the requirements can be met advantageously.
Obwohl verschiedene Pflanzenfasern die für die erfindungsgemäße Wirkung erforderlichen Eigenschaften mit sich bringen, ergeben sich besonders günstige - 4 -Although various plant fibers have the properties required for the action according to the invention, they are particularly advantageous - 4 -
Conditions when the plant fibers consist of hemp fibers, as they can be economically made available in the form of tow.
Kurze Beschreibung der ZeichnungBrief description of the drawing
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown, for example, namely a greening mat according to the invention for slope fastening is shown in a schematic cross section on an enlarged scale.
Bester Weg zur Ausführung der ErfindungBest way to carry out the invention
The green mat 1 shown in sections consists of two fleece layers 2 and 3, each of which is formed from a pre-needled fleece 4. These nonwovens 4 have a fiber mixture of hemp and sheep wool fibers, the proportions of these different fibers being chosen to be approximately the same size. For the production of the greening mat 1, the granular seeds 5 are advantageously sprinkled loosely on a pre-needled fleece 4 before another fleece 4 is placed on top and the two fleeces 4 are needled together with the seed grains 5 located therebetween in order to close the fleece layers 2 and 3 of the greening mat 1 form. The seed grains 5 consequently find a secure holder in the area of the facing nonwoven surfaces between the fibers, which prevents the risk of the seed escaping from the greening mat 1. The greening mat 1 can therefore be handled easily. To fix the slope, this greening mat 1 only needs to be rolled up and connected to the floor covering it by anchoring bolts in order to initiate the germination process for the seed 5 by moistening the greening mat 1. The moisture penetrating into the floor layer below the greening mat 1 is stored by the floor layer, which is prevented from drying out by the greening mat 1. The greening mat 1, which initially takes over the sole protection against erosion, thus brings advantageous germination conditions with it, the porosity of the fleece layers 2 and 3 causing the seeds to germinate and root. - 5 - tes 5 is supported. The rotting of the sheep's wool fibers, which is increased by the soil moisture, creates additional pores for the growth of the fleece layers 2, 3. In addition, the rotting sheep's wool fibers form a fertilizer which accelerates the growth of the plants. The hemp fiber content rots correspondingly more slowly than the sheep's wool fibers, so that adequate protection against erosion can be ensured by the greening mat 1 until the expelled plants represent a natural slope.
