Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un compte-tours (6) dans lequel sont incorporés plusieurs éléments lumineux (3,4,5) dans la plage de régime du moteur (tours par minute ou tr/min). Ces éléments lumineux (3,4,5) sont disposés de manière à définir des avertissements sous forme de différentes lignes rouges correspondant au régime acceptable pour le moteur (tr/min) en fonction des conditions de fonctionnement surveillées ou simplement du type de combinaison moteur/boîte de vitesse. La plage du régime moteur acceptable (tr/min) peut être variée en fonction de la charge du moteur, ou bien un compte-tours unique peut être utilisé pour une gamme de moteur étendue, la limite de la ligne rouge pour chaque moteur respectif étant déterminée par un des éléments lumineux. Par conséquent, un compte-tours unique ou générique qui comprend les éléments lumineux mais qui est adapté par le système d'interrogation est utilisé pour chaque combinaison moteur/boîte de vitesse distincte plutôt que des compte-tours spécifiques destinés à chaque combinaison.
