Abstract

L'invention concerne des plaques ou pièces d'ardoise pouvant être coupées, perforées, marquées ou traitées superficiellement au moyen d'un procédé fondé sur l'exposition à un faisceau laser. La grande flexibilité de ce procédé permet d'appliquer différents types de processus sur la pierre d'ardoise sans avoir à changer de matériel ou d'outil, il suffit simplement de modifier les paramètres de traitement. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il apporte une amélioration sensible aux conditions de travail de l'ouvrier qui doit traiter les plaques d'ardoise lors de l'élaboration, entre autres, d'ardoises pour toits ou planchers.
