Abstract

Cette invention a trait à un système radio cellulaire comprenant dans chaque cellule au moins une station de base (100, 102) communicant (104) avec des terminaux (106) se trouvant dans sa zone de desserte. Afin de localiser avantageusement un terminal, le système de l'invention comporte au moins un ensemble de dispositifs de mesure (112. 114) écoutant les signaux envoyés par les terminaux et recueillant les données de mesure au titre de deux méthodes différentes de localisation de terminal.
