Abstract

The use of lines of optical fibres in communication systems requires additional space in structural frameworks in order to avoid mixing electrical and optical cables. The invention solves this problem by providing a large-surface carrier (1) between the rear part of the assembly carrier and the door (5) of the cabinet. The large-surface carrier is used to accommodate optical system components (2, 3).

In modern communication systems, the problem is the supply information to be processed signals of a plurality of in-system facilities. This applies in particular for the coupling field components of an ATM communication system which are arranged spatially close to one another.
