Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de chauffage à la flamme permettant de chauffer par rayonnement et par convection les surfaces d'échange thermique d'une installation. Cette invention permet d'accroître l'efficacité de fonctionnement des surfaces d'échange thermique, d'accroître la durée de fonctionnement d'appareils thermiques entre les phases d'entretien, et d'assurer une plus grande sécurité de fonctionnement. A cette fin, on introduit un carburant et un oxydant dans une chambre à rayonnement de manière à ce que ledit oxydant, dont le contenu en oxygène est supérieur à 3 % en volumes, pénètre séparément dans la zone de rayonnement. Le carburant est dosé selon le mode de progression de l'oxydant et en fonction du profil de température requis des surfaces d'échange thermique, ceci de manière à créer simultanément des conditions de chauffage par convection et par rayonnement.
