Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Radialkolbenpumpe zur Kraftstoffhochdurckversorgung bei Kraftstoffeinspritzsystemen von Brennkraftmaschinen, insbesondere bei einem Common-Rail-Einspritzsystem, mit einer in einem Pumpengehäuse (2) gelagerten Antriebswelle (4), und mit vorzugsweise mehreren bezüglich der Antriebswelle (4) radial in einem jeweiligen Zylinderraum (12) angeordneten Kolben (10), die in radialer Richtung hin- und her bewegbar sind, wobei für jeden Kolben (10) ein den jeweiligen Zylinderraum (12) bildendes metallisches Einsatzteil (22) innerhalb des Gehäuses (2) und radial zur Antriebswelle (4) vorgesehen ist, das mit der Ansaugseite (40) und mit der Hochdruckseite (42) kommuniziert; um die Bauteile statisch exakt zu definieren, wird die Pumpe so ausgebildet, dass das jeweilige Einsatzteil (22) in Richtung der Antriebswelle (4) zwischen zwei flanschförmigen metallischen Gehäuseteilen (48, 50) mit senkrecht zur Antriebswelle verlaufenden Anlageflächen (24, 26; 52, 54) an diese anliegt, und dass das jeweilige Einsatzteil (22) eine Kraftstoffzuführöffnung (32) und eine Kraftstoffabführöffnung (34) aufweist, die im Bereich der Anlageflächen (24, 26) münden und mit einer weiteren Zuführ- bzw. Abführöffnung (58, 60) in den Gehäuseteilen (48, 50) fluchten, und dass die flanschförmigen Gehäuseteile (48, 50) unter Zwischenordnung der Einsatzteile (22) derart gegeneinande angezogen sind, dass die Anlageflächen (24, 26; 52, 54) des jeweiligen Einsatzteils (22) und der Gehäuseteile (48, 50) ohne Zwischenordnung von Dichtungselementen eine Hochdruckabdichtung bewirken.
