Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de contrôle domestique à distance (100) permettant de contrôler un compteur des services publics (108) et un dispositif domestique (118) situé dans une habitation (102) et, de communiquer avec un ordinateur hôte (130) situé à distance et doté de programmes (306-330) permettant d'exécuter une fonction prescrite concernant un domaine servi par l'ordinateur hôte. Ce système comporte une unité de commande domestique (116) munie d'un récepteur (82) destiné à recevoir un signal d'état du capteur provenant du dispositif domestique; d'un émetteur (82) destiné à transmettre les informations au dispositif domestique; et d'un module de commande (83). Une unité de lecture du compteur des services publics (120) est fixée à un compteur classique de consommation (par exemple un compteur électrique) et comporte un système de détection (218) destiné à lire les données de consommation provenant du compteur des services publics; un module d'interface (302) destiné à transmettre les données de consommation; et un module de commande (304) destiné à mémoriser les données de consommation provenant du compteur des services publics et à commander la transmission des données par le module d'interface. L'unité de lecture du compteur des services publics est en communication avec un concentrateur (122) qui comporte un émetteur (650, 502) destiné à émettre un signal de demande d'interrogation du concentrateur au module d'interface de l'unité de lecture du compteur des services publics; un récepteur (650, 504) destiné à recevoir les données de consommation provenant du module d'interface de l'unité de lecture du compteur des services publics en réponse au signal de demande d'interrogation du concentrateur; un module d'interface du concentrateur (654) destiné à grouper les données de consommation sous forme de paquet de lecture automatique du compteur (AMR) présentant une adresse hôte de destination; et un émetteur-récepteur (658) destiné à transmettre le paquet AMR à l'ordinateur hôte. Ce système permet à un foyer (y compris des appartements, etc.) d'insérer et de commander totalement les compteurs des services publics et un nombre quelconque de dispositifs domestiques qui sont situés à l'intérieur de la maison et qui peuvent être contrôlés par des ordinateurs situés à distance.
