La deuxième extrémité 3 a une forme en U 15 (voir Figure 1 ) qui est un levier de dégagement qui permet la mise en place du ressort et son retrait sur la pièce 5 à maintenir par simple rotation du ressort sur lui-même. Pour effectuer la mise en place du ressort, après insertion des extrémités 2 et 3 du ressort dans les deux logements 1 1 et 12, respectivement, il faut lui imprimer une rotation selon un axe sensiblement parallèle à celui du rouleau 6, jusqu'à ce que le ressort vienne se bloquer contre une butée 14 réalisée sur la pièce 5 à maintenir en compression. La pièce 13 ou switch vient obstruer le chemin du logement 12. Pour dégager la pièce à maintenir en pression, il suffit d'imprimer et d'autoriser une rotation du ressort, ce qui permet de dégager la pièce à maintenir en pression de la pièce à comprimer.
