Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à des patins à roues en ligne (3), autorisant un mouvement latéral pendant le freinage, ce qui permet, en d'autres termes, de freiner en faisant glisser latéralement les patins à roues en ligne. Dans des situations d'urgence, il est difficile de maîtriser un freinage brusque avec des patins à roues en ligne. Cela est essentiellement dû au fait qu'il est impossible de glisser latéralement avec les patins à roues en ligne pour s'arrêter net, comme on le fait habituellement avec les patins à glace. Selon la présente invention, pour résoudre ce problème, des paires de roues sphériques (51, 61) sont montées sur un axe longitudinal (12) et peuvent pivoter latéralement pendant le freinage. Ainsi, les paires de roues (51, 61) se déplacent les unes par rapport aux autres de telle manière que systématiquement au moins deux roues soient en contact avec le sol (7).
