Abstract

Es wird ein durchschußhemmendes und schlagresistentes Schichtmaterial angegeben, mit einer ersten Schicht (1) in Form eines glasfaserverstärkten Kunstharz-Laminats, und mit einer zweiten Schicht (2), die auf die erste Schicht (1) auflaminiert ist. Zur Erhöhung der ballistischen Widerstandsfähigkeit bei gleichzeitiger Senkung des Gewichts und der Herstellungskosten besteht die zweite Schicht (2) aus einem unter Zusatz eines thermoplastischen Binders verdichteten Faserfilzes (12), der auch nach der Verdichtung eine gewisse Flexibilität behält, und die zweite Schicht (2) ist in bezug auf die erste Schicht (1) auf der Angriffsseite (A) angeordnet.
