Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de combustion de gaz résiduels. L'appareil comprend une chambre de combustion cylindrique (2) et, au niveau de son extrémité inférieure, un brûleur (1) par lequel les gaz résiduels, le combustible auxiliaire et l'air de combustion sont conduits jusque dans la chambre de combustion. L'appareil comprend également une chambre de post-combustion (3) s'étendant au-dessus de la chambre de combustion (2), une enveloppe (4) s'étendant sur la chambre de post-combustion (3) ainsi qu'un moyen (10) destiné à conduire l'air de post-combustion entre la chambre de combustion et la chambre de post-combustion, et la chambre de post-combustion et l'enveloppe respectivement. L'invention peut être utilisée comme appareil de combustion auxiliaire pour la combustion temporaire de gaz malodorants et de gaz résiduels.
