Only by way of exemplification, the case can be mentioned of a client with whom it has been agreed to utilize a letter as suffix 13 of the serial number, according to the following scheme, that is one of the innumerable possible schemes:
  • the above mentioned letters can also be illegible with naked eye, so that only magnetic readers can decode them.
  • the position of the literal or numeric algorithm is such that these documents are anyway read, without interferences or noise caused by the concerned literal suffix .

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de protection combiné pour des documents présentant une ou plusieurs protections choisies dans un groupe OSI (Overt Security Image/Image de sécurité manifeste) à images de sécurité apparentes et/ou dans un groupe CSI (Covert Security Image/Image de sécurité invisible) à images de sécurité latentes, ledit groupe OSI comprenant: (I) une protection contre les falsifications et les photocopies en couleurs, basée sur l'adoption de procédés d'impression dans lesquels on utilise les phénomènes de réflexion de la lumière, conjointement avec des motifs et des gravures particuliers, pour donner une apparence différente à différents détails des motifs; (II) une protection des données modifiables par l'impression de différentes parties desdites données modifiables sur des parties du document présentant différentes caractéristiques de réflexion de la lumière. Ledit groupe CSI comporte: (I) le dessin ou la gravure en relief des parties du document que l'on veut protéger contre l'effacement, en particulier celles contenant des données numériques, en fonction de motifs particuliers; (II) l'insertion d'une lettre supplémentaire lisible magnétiquement ou d'un numéral en amont de la bande magnétique standard, la lettre ou le numéral variant en fonction d'un algorithme personnalisé; (III) l'application d'une encre sympathique invisible à l'oeil nu, conçue pour devenir visible définitivement lorsqu'elle est mise en contact avec des substances activantes spécifiques; (IV) pour les documents dont la négociabilité doit être limitée, l'enlèvement irréversible d'une partie prédéterminée de ceux-ci.
