Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un nouveau type de profilé formé à froid ayant une robustesse, une résistance à la flexion et une stabilité considérablement supérieures aux profilés utilisés jusqu'à aujourd'hui. De tels profilés présentent certains autres avantages relatifs à leur production, étant donné qu'on utilise à cet effet des machines moins puissantes ou des machines de formage moins puissantes, des matériaux en tôles moins épais et de l'acier en moindre quantité pour la fabrication des cylindres de formage nécessaires pour les étapes de pliage du profilé. Ce profilé se compose d'une tige centrale formant une bande à une seule feuille (1) et de branches (2, 3), conférant au profilé une forme en T grec (tau) double, ayant deux parties symétriques plus grandes (2) d'épaisseur double par rapport à la partie centrale et des parties symétriques très plates (3) d'épaisseur triple par rapport à la partie centrale, comme représenté dans la figure.
