  • This embodiment has the advantage that a card holder that includes an aperture adapted for coaction with a ball-and-link chain can be hung in a position in which the device is angled away from the a device resting surface.
  • Figure 4 illustrates a card holder that hangs on a ball-and-link chain 8 placed around the neck of the person carrying the card holder, where the chest of the carrier forms the device resting surface 9.
  • Figure 4 is a side-section view of the card holder and shows the card holder hanging against the device resting surface 9. Because the link 83 located between the ball 81 that lies in the cup formed by the second hole 32' and the ball 82 located on the other side of the second hole 32' extends at an angle to the base plate 11, and because a ball-and-link chain has limited intrinsic flexibility, the ball-and-link chain 8 will describe an arcuate path from the base plate 11 up to the device resting surface 9. This means that the card holder will be tilted through a given angle away from the surface 9 (the chest of the wearer) .
  • a card held in the card holder can be handled more easily, owing to the fact that a card-grip a recess 16a provided in the card holder will therewith be out of contact with the device resting surface 9 so that the carrier of the card holder can easily grip that part of the card exposed in the recess 16a.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de ranger une carte contenant des informations spécifiques et ayant des dimensions spécifiques. Le dispositif comprend une plaque de base de forme rectangulaire ou généralement rectangulaire, deux premiers bords latéraux redressés s'étendant le long de la plaque de base, un sur chaque côté long de celle-ci, et deux seconds bords latéraux s'étendant le long de la plaque de base, un sur chaque côté court de celle-ci. La plaque de base comporte au moins un orifice traversant à travers lequel on peut faire passer un fil support afin de suspendre le dispositif sur une unité support, tel qu'un crochet ou le cou de la personne qui le porte. L'orifice comporte un premier et un second trou, le premier ayant une section supérieure à celle du fil support, et une fente traversante qui relie les trous et dont la largeur est inférieure au diamètre du fil support.
