  • the pressure hood 10 has ribs 23 on the front wall 22 and on the top wall 21. Slots 24 are formed between the ribs 23. Each rib 23 and each slot 24 located in between alternately accommodate and support a respective contact 11 of the back, inner row and of the front, outer row.

Abstract

Un boîtier de connecteur électrique à angle droit (1) ayant plusieurs contacts (11) possède une face extrême de connexion (2) et une face extrême de montage (3) agencées à angle droit l'une par rapport à l'autre. Les contacts (11) sont connectés dans la région de connexion (13) au moyen d'une connexion de type à pression sur un trou traversant métallisé percé dans un support. Le boîtier (1) du connecteur possède un capot (10) entre la face extrême de connexion (2) et la face extrême de montage (3). Un élément de support (16) ayant un pied (17) est agencé sur deux parois latérales (6) opposées l'une par rapport à l'autre du capot à pression (10). L'élément de support (16) possède une languette en forme de queue d'aronde (18) qui peut être insérée dans une rainure complémentaire (19) du boîtier du connecteur (1) parallèle à la face extrême de montage (3). Les forces d'ajustement serré qu'il faut vaincre lors de la connexion à pression des contacts (11) sur le support sont transmises du capot à pression (10) au boîtier (1) du connecteur. Ce connecteur est utilisé pour du matériel informatique.
