Description
Ski- oder Wanderstock Ski or hiking stick
The invention relates to a ski or hiking stick according to the preamble of protection claim 1.
Ski or hiking poles are known, the pole of which can be extended telescopically. To set the desired length of the cane tube, an inner tube guided in an outer tube is fixed by twisting it relative to the outer tube after the desired length of the cane tube has been set. The inner and outer tubes of ski or hiking sticks are relatively thin, so that it is difficult to grasp them firmly and twist them against each other. In addition, the pipes naturally have a smooth surface. A secure setting of a set tube length or a simple loosening of the connected tubes is therefore not guaranteed. A small remedy is one on the end of the outer tube into which the inner tube is inserted, applied plastic sleeve, which primarily serves to prevent the penetration of moisture between the outer and inner tube. This known plastic sleeve is knurled on its outer circumference. Since the plastic sleeve is only applied to the outer tube and not to the inner tube and is only relatively short, so that when the outer tube is gripped essentially only one finger can grip the plastic sleeve, this plastic sleeve offers only a slight improvement in existing situation. In particular, the thinner inner tube can still slip in your hand.
Starting from this prior art, it is an object of the invention to provide an improved ski or hiking stick, in which individual tubes forming the stick tube can be securely axially fixed to one another by twisting and detached from one another again.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a ski or hiking stick with the features of claim 1.
The structured surface of at least one of the tubes reduces the slipping of the tube in the hand when the two tubes forming the pole tube are turned relative to one another. Surprisingly, the frictional resistance between the hand and the pipe need only be increased slightly in order to bring about a considerably improved fixing or loosening of the pipes. A structure according to the invention on the outer surface is sufficient for this.
A safe and quick loosening and fixing of the pipes, e.g. B. to adjust the pole length, is particularly necessary if the user of the stick, z. B. a hiker or ski tourer, moves in rough terrain, so that no unnecessary effort and concentration on the stick to be adjusted must be directed. In order to the user of the stick according to the invention receives an increased level of security.
The invention can be used with particular advantage in the case of ski poles or hiking poles whose pole tube has an anodized or plastic-coated surface, since such surfaces show little friction compared to the hand or a glove.
An embodiment of the invention according to claim 2 is particularly preferred, according to which the inner tube of a telescopically extendable cane tube has the structured surface. Since the inner tube naturally has a smaller diameter than the outer tube, it is advantageous to design the inner tube in particular with a structured outer surface, since tubes of smaller diameter tend to slip in the hand.
The structure advantageously extends over at least about 10 cm, so that the structured area of the tube corresponds approximately to a hand's width. This increases the friction between the hand and the pipe.
Embodiments of the invention according to claims 4 to 8 are particularly preferred, since grooves can be introduced extremely easily onto the surface of a pipe, for example by scratching. The grooves run parallel so that the stick tube maintains a beautiful appearance. An embodiment of the invention according to claim 6 offers optimal coefficients of friction between the hand and the tube.
So that the tube is not weakened too much by the introduction of the grooves, an embodiment of the invention according to claim 7 or 8 is provided. Surprisingly, it has been shown that such grooves increase the friction sufficiently and yet only insignificantly weaken the tube, so that even by blows with a steel edge of a ski Pipe is not so damaged that it kinks when using the stick.
Anspruch 9 beschreibt eine alternative Ausführungsform der Struktur.Claim 9 describes an alternative embodiment of the structure.
In the following, the invention is explained in detail using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing.
The single figure of the drawing shows a section of a pole 10 of a ski or hiking stick, not shown. The cane tube 10 has two tubes 12 and 14, of which the tube 12 is designed as an inner tube 16. The inner tube 16 can be telescopically inserted into an outer tube 18 formed by the tube 14. Inner tube 16 and outer tube 18 can be axially fixed to one another by means of a locking device 20 (not shown in more detail). Such a locking device 20 is known for example from German utility model G 93 19933.3.
The locking device 20 can be loosened or tightened by mutually rotating the tubes 16 and 18. One end 22 of the outer tube 18, into which the inner tube is inserted, has an end sleeve 22, preferably made of plastic. The end sleeve 22 serves essentially as a seal between the inner tube 16 and the outer tube 18, so that no moisture can penetrate into the outer tube 18.
Die Länge der Riefen beträgt vorzugsweise wenig¬ stens ca. 10 cm.The inner tube 16 has a structure 26 on its outer surface 24. The structure 26 consists of circumferentially spaced grooves or grooves 28, which preferably run parallel and in the longitudinal direction of the tube. Six equidistant grooves 28 are preferably provided. Six grooves can be installed on pipes with a relatively small diameter with a reasonable amount of work. Since today's ski or hiking poles are mainly made of aluminum, the grooves 28 can be easily brought into the outer surface 24 of the inner tube 16 by scratching. The depth of the grooves 28 is preferably 1/3 to half the wall thickness of the inner tube 16. In conventional inner tubes of ski or hiking poles, the depth of the grooves is about 3/10 to 4/10 mm and the width is preferably about 1 mm. The length of the grooves is preferably at least about 10 cm.
A parallel course of the grooves in the longitudinal direction of the tube is preferred, since this results in optimal coefficients of friction between the hand and the tube. However, other embodiments of the invention are also conceivable with which the object can be achieved. For example, parallel grooves can be provided which are applied helically to the outer surface of the inner tube. A group of parallel grooves can cross with a second group of parallel grooves, in that the second group of grooves has an opposite screwing direction than the first group of grooves.
Further refinements of the invention are conceivable. For example, the structure can also consist of a name applied to the outer surface of the inner tube, which can, for example, be engraved on the surface.
In an alternative embodiment, the structure consists of knurling applied to the inner tube.
In a further embodiment, not shown, the outer tube 18 also has a structure 26 on its outer surface.
