Abstract

Embouchure, particulièrement destinée aux instruments à vent en cuivre, présentant une partie cylindrique s'adaptant sur l'instrument et une collerette sur laquelle s'adaptent les lèvres, caractérisée par le fait que la collerette (11) sur laquelle s'engage la lèvre comporte un premier rebord (14) arrondi à symétrie de révolution et un deuxième rebord (15) arrondi suivant une ligne droite perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal de l'embouchure. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'embouchure destinée particulièrement aux instruments à vent en cuivre, dans lequel les pièces à symétrie de révolution (partie cylindrique, collerette) sont formées à la dimension exacte par coulée, pressage et/ou découpe, caractérisé par le fait que le premier rebord (14) à symétrie de révolution sur la collerette (11) est usiné en premier, de préférence par découpe, par exemple au tour, et qu'ensuite le deuxième rebord arrondi (15) suivant une ligne droite est usiné, de préférence par découpe, par exemple par fraisage.
