Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un pare-chocs comprenant un corps allongé (12) avec une cavité (20) s'étendant sur une partie au moins de la longueur de ce corps, une membrure (14) placée dans cette cavité en contact étroit avec elle, ainsi qu'un dispositif de fixation (16) servant à fixer le pare-chocs à une structure préalablement choisie (18). La cavité dudit corps possède une section transversale de forme prédéterminée et la membrure possède une section transversale de forme correspondante. Ledit corps est construit en une seule pièce d'un matériau élastique moulable. Les formes correspondantes des sections transversales de la cavité du corps du pare-chocs et de la membrure sont conçues pour maximiser le transfert des forces de torsion entre ledit corps et ladite membrure. La membrure est conçue pour satisfaire à des exigences de résistance avec une masse minimale. Le corps du pare-chocs et la membrure du pare-chocs peuvent également contenir chacun un vide (34) qui est rempli par un matériau mousse (35).
