Abstract

Bei einem motorunabhängigen Fahrzeugheizgerät mit einem Brennerkopf (9) und einem Flammrohr (8), welches mit einem von einem Wärmeträgermedium durchströmbaren Wärmetauscher-Mantel (10) umgeben ist, wobei der Wärmetauscher-Mantel Anschlüsse (A; B) für einen Eingang und einen Ausgang des Wärmetauschermediums aufweist und im Bereich der Anschlüsse Regelfühler (20; 20'; 22) angeordnet sind, welche mit einem Steuergerät verbunden sind, das den Betrieb des Fahrzeugheizgerätes in Abhängigkeit von der gemessenen Wärmeträgertemperatur regelt, wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Wärmetauscher-Mantel (10) vom Wärmeträgermedium wahlweise auch in umgekehrter Richtung durchströmt werden kann, wobei dann die Anschlüsse (A; B) für den Eingang und den Ausgang des Wärmeträgermediums vertauscht und die Regelwerte der vorhandenen Regelfühler angepasst werden.
