Abstract

A hose for motor vehicles consists of several plastic layers (1; 2; 3), where the innermost one (1) is of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). The innermost plastic layer (1) is preferably surrounded by a bonding agent (2) which also at least substantially consists of PVDF. The outer layer is preferably of polyamide 11 and polyamide 12.

Description

FLEXIBLE KÜHLWASSERLEITUNG FÜR KRAFTFAHRZEUGE FLEXIBLE COOLING WATER PIPE FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
TECHNISCHES GEBIETTECHNICAL AREA
Die Erfindung betrifft eine flexible Kühlwasserleitung für Kraftfahrzeuge .The invention relates to a flexible cooling water line for motor vehicles.
STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART
So far, only reinforced rubber hoses are known as flexible cooling water pipes for motor vehicles. In addition to a high degree of flexibility, such cooling water lines are required to be resistant, in particular to glycol and other cooling water additives. In addition, the cooling water pipes must have good resistance down to low temperature ranges of -40 ° C and high temperature ranges up to + 120 ° C.
These requirements have led to the fact that previously only reinforced rubber hoses have been used as flexible cooling water lines.
DIE ERFINDUNGThe production of armored rubber hoses for use as cooling water pipes is complex and expensive. THE INVENTION
The object of the invention is to create flexible cooling water pipes for motor vehicles which can be extruded from plastic.
This object is achieved with the features of the characterizing part of claim 1. Preferred embodiments are described in the subclaims.
The provision of an inner layer made of PVDF with simultaneous construction of the cooling water line from several plastic layers leads to a cooling water line which meets the high requirements. It proves to be particularly advantageous that the inner plastic layer made of PVDF is enclosed by an adhesion promoter layer, which essentially also consists of PVDF. The use of polyamide proves to be very helpful for the further outer layer.
KURZBESCHREIBUNG DER ZEICHNUNGSABBILDUNGThe particularly preferred cooling water line has an inner layer made of PVDF and an outer layer made of PA 11 or PA 12. Between the outer layer and the inner layer, an adhesion promoter layer is provided which consists at least essentially of PVDF. Such a flexible cooling water line proves to be suitable in long-term tests to meet all the high demands on flexible cooling water lines for motor vehicles. Adequate temperature resistance to low and high temperatures is achieved, and there is also sufficient resistance to glycol or other antifreezing agents or conventional cooling water additives. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING ILLUSTRATION
Es zeigen:A preferred embodiment of the invention is explained in detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
Figur 1 - einen Längsschnitt durch eine dreischichtige flexible Kühlwasserleitung, Figur 2 - einen Querschnitt entlang II-II in Figur 1.Figure 1 - a longitudinal section through a three-layer flexible cooling water pipe, Figure 2 - a cross section along II-II in Figure 1.
The graphic representation is not to scale. For clarification, the three layers in the upper area of FIG. 1 are also of different lengths.
BESTER WEG ZUR AUSFÜHRUNG DER ERFINDUNGBEST WAY TO CARRY OUT THE INVENTION
An inner layer 1 made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) preferably has a layer thickness of the order of 0.1 to 0.3 mm. The inner layer 1 is enclosed by an adhesive layer 2, which at least essentially also consists of PVDF. In practice, their thickness is on the order of 0.05 to 0.15 mm. An outer plastic layer is preferably made of polyamide in a thickness range of 0.7 to 1.5 mm. PA 11 and PA 12 have proven to be suitable.
