Abstract

Cette invention concerne un système permettant à une pluralité de joueurs répartis géographiquement, qui utilisent des jeux informatisés installés sur des ensembles d'ordinateurs interconnectés par un réseau de transmission de données, de communiquer entre eux de manière interactive. Ledit système comporte d'une part, au moins un ensemble de commande de traitement de données raccordable au réseau de communication de données qui gère le fonctionnement de la pluralité d'ensembles d'ordinateurs reliés au réseau de transmission de données et d'autre part, une pluralité d'ensembles d'ordinateurs permettant aux joueurs de jouer aux jeux informatisés. Chacun desdits ensembles d'ordinateurs comporte d'une part, un ensemble d'entrée/sortie destiné à la transmission des données représentatives du jeu et/ou de la situation du joueur sur un réseau de transmission de données, et d'autre part, un organe d'interface avec le programme d'application conçu pour interfacer chaque ensemble d'ordinateurs avec l'ensemble de commande de traitement des données.
