Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de lissage de la charge de trafic d'une station fixe dans un système de radiocommunications cellulaire ainsi qu'à un système de radiocommunications cellulaire. Ledit système de radiocommunications cellulaire comporte dans chaque cellule au moins une station fixe et un certain nombre d'équipements terminaux d'abonnés. Lesdites stations fixes mesurent leur propre charge de trafic et émettent un signal pilote dont le niveau de puissance est mesuré par les équipements terminaux des abonnés. Les stations fixes et les équipements terminaux des abonnés sont interconnectés par l'intermédiaire de leurs voies de trafic. Lorsqu'une station fixe supporte une charge de trafic élevée, elle réduit sa couverture en réduisant la puissance d'émission du signal pilote ou en intervenant sur la mesure de puissance du signal pilote effectuée au niveau de l'équipement terminal de l'abonné.
