  • One of the objects of the present invention is to provide a simple, reasonably priced design, which has extensive possibilities for variation, both in angle and length, where exact cutting and feeding are ensured with simple operation, and where the safety of the operator is guaranteed.   • an adjustable stopper 14 is provided opposite the slide 8. Furthermore end cuts and the like are removed automatically by means of a pneumatically driven device 15 which "sweeps" the work table, preferably on the saw unit 1.
  • the device is operated by means of a control device 12, provided between the saw units 1 and 2, and consists of a two-handed release device, which by means of PLS control (not shown) controls the work cycle.
  • the device which according to fig. 1 is composed of two semi-automatic machines, preferably the Gjerde saw, where the saw blade is located under the tabletop/turntable and during cutting it is raised up through this, and where only the feeding in of the element stocks is performed manually, is adjusted in relation to the desired cutting length by means of the saw 1 and in relation to the element's width by means of the lever 11.
  • the element stocks are positioned in the longitudinal direction by means of the adjustable stopper 14 and then fed in continuously by means of the retractor to the correct position.
  • the subsequent work cycle is controlled automatically by means of the two-handed release device 12.
  • the element stock which is positioned against the stoppers 10 by means of the pneumatic retractors 7, is then fixed by means of the securing mechanisms 5, while at the same time the upper protectors 4 are lowered over the cutting zones.
  • the saw blades are passed up through a slot in the work table, cut the element stock and return to the starting position.
  • the upper protectors 4, the securing mechanisms 5 and the retractors 7 then return, and the element stock is lifted by means of the roller conveyors 9 and is tipped out behind the saw units. Finally end cuts and the like are removed by means of the device 15, preferably on the saw unit 1.
  • the roller conveyor 9 which is provided in extension of the rail track 13 enables short material stocks to be cut and possibly cutting of both straight and longitudinal incisions in the form of wedges.
  • the machines can also be supplied with additional equipment which increases the degree of automation with the result that the device can be converted to a preprogrammable wholly-automatic device for the manufacture of roof truss elements.
  • This can be implemented by means of, e.g., PC control, and supply turntables (cutting angle), tilting mechanism for saw blade, length adjustment as well as feeding in and out of the element stocks by pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical operation.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé ainsi qu'un dispositif de production d'éléments de ferme, ou d'autres produits en bois, dont les deux extrémités doivent être sciées. On effectue cette opération en réglant deux scies (1, 2) d'angle montées sur un rail (13), de manière à obtenir un angle souhaité pour la lame de scie et à conserver entre les scies une distance qui corresponde à la longueur voulue de l'élément de ferme. On apporte ensuite le bois débité à la demande, de manière à le mettre en contact avec les deux scies (1, 2) et à l'immobiliser dans cette position, les deux scies étant alors mises en action, de préférence de manière synchronisée, pour la finition dudit élément, lequel est ensuite libéré et enlevé de la table à scier.
