Abstract

Procédé et dispositif permettant de réduire la surpression du souffle et de limiter la lueur de bouche lors du tir avec des armes à canon, principalement du type de gros calibre entièrement automatique tel que des canons automatiques antiaériens. Selon la présente invention, les gaz propulseurs, lorsqu'ils ont quitté le canon, peuvent se dilater dans une chambre (5) dotée de parois fermées. Le seul orifice d'entrée dans ladite chambre est la bouche (1) du canon et le seul orifice de sortie est une ouverture opposée (6) qui est directement reliée à un cache-flammes (7) en forme de diffuseur. La présente invention concerne également certaines relations critiques entre les composants inclus.
