Abstract

Moteur à combustion interne qui est doté d'une chambre (10) de vaporisation de carburant séparée d'une chambre (12) principale de combustion, mais adjacente à ladite chambre. La paroi (14) de la chambre (10) de vaporisation possède au moins une ouverture (16) permettant à du carburant partiellement vaporisé de pénétrer dans la chambre principale (12) de combustion. Du carburant est introduit (injecté) dans la chambre (10) de vaporisation et de l'énergie thermique résiduelle ou ajoutée vaporise partiellement le carburant injecté. Ce procédé favorise la combustion, réduisant ainsi les substances d'échappement non désirées.
