Abstract

Sanitary seat-bathtub comprised of a single part shaped like a seat for sanitary bowls, having a shape such that the centre of the seat has a cavity, tank or bathtub which may be filled with lukewarm water to have a hip-bath, and its rear perimeter is open so as to form an opening for empting the tank or bathtub, when tilting the apparatus, cuts being provided in the front part on the right side and on the left side of the edge so that it can be fitted to any type of existing bowl.

The improvements in the present sanitary seat are such that they constitute a novel and original instrument forming both a seat and a seat damage, it is of exceptional utility to facilitate defecation in patients with pathologies that cause a symptomatology characterized by associated anal aches and pains to this operation

For all this, to allow and enable the type of patients referred to defecation by taking a seat bath at the same time, the present improved sanitary seat has been devised, which constitutes an original and novel instrument that thanks to its simplicity manages to eliminate and solve thus, the problems described above, of evacuation and disinfection, as well as the cleaning of the sanitary apparatus or instrument itself.

The present improved sanitary seat consists of a seat that fits and rests on any sanitary cup available in any home or hospital. This seat is characterized by constituting a closed container, which constitutes a bathtub that can be filled with water at a suitable temperature. In this way, the patient can sit on the sanitary cup, on top of this original instrument, and take a sitz bath in the mentioned bathtub that it incorporates. Thus, once the patient has defecated in the Dañera of the sanitary seat itself, to incorporate this a drain opening in its back, it is enough to tilt it to pour on the inside of the sanitary cup itself the content of feces and water inside the Dane-seat. Subsequently, being this novel and original instrument, of small dimensions, similar to those of a cover or sanitary seat, it can be washed and disinfected properly in any other place, such as in the bathroom's own bathtub or shower. According to the exemplary embodiment shown, the improvements in the sanitary seat to which the present invention refers are constituted by the creation of a new apparatus formed by a sanitary cup seat (1) with cuts in the profile (Ib) in its front part to the left and right to facilitate its fit in any type of sanitary cup existing in the market, open on the inside (2), attached to a bathtub or closed container (4).
