Abstract
Un appareil de lecture et d'écriture sur cartes à puce comprend une première unité de contact (KE1) librement accessible et une unité supplémentaire de contact (KE2) qui reçoit une carte à puce de sécurité (SK). L'unité supplémentaire de contact (KE2) est montée de façon à rendre difficile l'introduction et le retrait de la carte à puce de sécurité (SK). Cet appareil de lecture et d'écriture sur cartes à puce satisfait aux exigences de sécurité posées par l'utilisation d'un tel appareil dans des magasins et des centres de prestation de services. Il est en outre économique et donc intéressant même pour de petites exploitations, telles que des magasins de fleuristes et des kiosques.
