Abstract
Le procédé de l'invention comprend les étapes consistant à mélanger un matériau délié, de préférence une vermiculite expansée dont les particules ont une taille d'au moins 0,05 mm, avec un liant à silicate et/ou phosphate ainsi qu'avec un agent consolidant, à donner au mélange obtenu la forme d'une plaque soumise à une pression à chaud à une température et une pression suffisamment élevée, et pendant une durée suffisamment longue pour éliminer l'eau contenue dans la plaque et consolider le liant pour former des pores dans la plaque. Au cours du pressage, une substance gazeuse chaude est soufflée à travers ladite plaque en une pluralité de flux lesquels s'écoulent transversalement à travers ladite plaque. Le procédé de l'invention est destiné, de préférence, à être utilisé dans la production de matériau de construction.
