Abstract

Un distributeur (10) de ruban auto-adhésif permet de dérouler d'une main le ruban auto-adhésif (50) directement sur un substrat (52) et de le découper immédiatement après son déroulement à environ 1/8-1/4 de pouce du substrat. Le distributeur comprend un boîtier en plastique, de préférence en deux pièces (40, 41). Le boîtier est constitué d'une première partie (11) qui est une partie solide à l'extérieur, de forme sensiblement toroïdale, creuse à l'intérieur, pour pouvoir contenir un rouleau de ruban auto-adhésif. La seconde partie du boîtier est constituée d'un bras intérieur creux (12) s'étendant vers l'extérieur à partir de la première partie et qui comporte une extrémité distale (20) sur laquelle est montée une lame (24) (p.ex. en métal) dentelée. Le bras comporte une première surface s'étendant radialement, généralement plane (19) et une seconde surface (21) qui comporte une section d'appui incurvée (22) adjacente à la lame et une ouverture (26) par laquelle le ruban sort du boîtier et passe entre la lame et la première partie du boîtier. Une partie saillante (30) s'étend verticalement à partir d'un bord proximal de l'ouverture et vient en contact avec la surface adhésive du ruban, cette partie saillante présentant une petite surface distale (31). Des dépressions (14) formées dans la paroi, coniques, concentriques, sont ménagées au niveau de l'axe central (13) de la première partie de forme sensiblement toroïdale et forment des emplacements commodes pour placer les doigts et améliorent la préhension et, éventuellement, le centrage du rouleau de ruban sur le moyeu.
