Bei der Montage des Kraftfahrzeugs fährt man das Cockpitmodul von oben her durch die Windschutz- scheibenδffnung in die Karosserie ein und verbindet dann die Stirnwand an ihren Seiten durch Verschrau- bungen und Klebekanalverbindungen mit der Karosserie. Bei einem solchen Kraftfahrzeug kann man für Rechts- oder Linkslenkung das Cockpitmodul mit der Stirnwand unterschiedlich gestalten, die übrige Karosserie jedoch immer gleich ausführen. Nachteilig bei einer solchen Karosserie ist jedoch, daß das Cockpit und die Wind¬ schutzscheibenöffnung so bemessen sein müssen, daß das Einfahren von oben möglich wird. Der Erfindung liegt das Problem zugrunde, ein Kraft¬ fahrzeug der eingangs genannten Art so zu gestalten, daß ihre in eine Stirnwandöffnung einzusetzende Schließplatte möglichst großflächig ausgebildet und ihre Verschraubungen mit der Stirnwand möglichst gut erreichbar sind.As DE-C-33 30 140 shows, it is already known in motor vehicles to provide a cockpit module with a complete front wall which extends over the entire width of the motor vehicle. Die Schließplatte 11 hat einen schräg in den Motorraum 1 führenden Wandbereich 14, welcher zusammen mit der Schottwand 9 und dem Steg 10 einen Wasserkasten 15 bil¬ det, der unterhalb einer Windschutzscheibe 16 quer im Fahrzeug verläuft. Die Verbindung zwischen der Schlie߬ platte 11 und dem Steg 10 erfolgt dadurch, daß die Schließplatte 11 einen nach vorn weisenden Klebekanal 17 hat, in welchen der Steg 10 eintaucht und der vor der Montage der Schließplatte 11 mit Kleber gefüllt wird. In Figur 3 ist hinter der Stirnwandöffnung 8 die Schließplatte 11 mit dem Klebekanal 17 zu erkennen, welcher nach Montage über den Steg 10 der Schottwand 9 greift, so daß der Wasserkasten 15 entsteht. Zum kraftschlüssi¬ gen Verbinden der Schließplatte 11 mit der Fahrzeug- Struktur ist an jeder ihrer Seite ein Klebekanal 18 ausgebildet, welcher über einen zur Schließplatte 11 hin gerichteten, schräg zur Fahrzeugmitte hin abfallen¬ den Verbindungssteg 19 greift. Nach dem Einsetzen der Schließ- platte 11 in die Stirnwandöffnung 8 befestigt man von oben her auf den Federbeindomen 4 bzw. 5 mittels Schrauben 22 einen von einem Federbeindom 4 zum anderen Federbeindom 5 verlaufenden Querträger 21, welcher als Kabelkanal ausgebildet ist und in dem Kabel 23 verlau- fen. Dieser Querträger 21 hat an seiner Oberseite eine Motorhaubendichtung 24, gegen welche die nicht gezeigte Motorhaube im geschlossenen Zustand anliegt. Nach unten hin hat der Querträger 21 eine Dichtung 25, die bei montiertem Querträger 21 dichtend über den oberen Rand der Schottwand 9 greift. Patentansprüche claims
1. Kraftfahrzeug mit einer einen Fußraum nach vorn hin begrenzenden Stirnwand mit einer Stirnwand¬ öffnung, welche durch eine vom Fahrzeuginnenraum her mit einem Halteflansch gegen den Rand der Stirnwandöffnung verschraubte Schließplatte ver¬ schlossen ist, die einen Teil eines Cockpitmoduls bildet und insbesondere Fahrzeugpedale haltert, und bei dem oberhalb der Stirnwand ein von einer Windschutzscheibe herunterlaufendes Wasser abfüh¬ render und einen Motorraum zwischen Motorhaube und der Windschutzscheibe abschließender, nach vorn hin durch eine Schottwand begrenzter Wasserkasten angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schließplatte (11) annähernd von einem Radhaus (2, 3) zum anderen reicht und sie im oberen Bereich zumindest einen Teilbereich des Wasserkastens (15) bildet.1.
